SAMASAVE · LEGAL

Terms and Conditions

1. What SamaSave is

SamaSave is a record-keeping and organizing tool for paluwagan groups. It helps organizers and members track members, turns, contributions, receipts and payouts.

SamaSave does not hold, transfer or guarantee money. Contributions and payouts are made directly between members and organizers, outside the app, through methods they choose (such as cash, GCash, Maya or bank transfer). SamaSave is not a bank, lender, e-money issuer, investment product or insurer.

2. Your account

3. Organizers

If you create or manage a group, you agree to:

4. Members

5. Risks of paluwagan groups

Paluwagan groups depend on trust between people. A member may fail to pay, or an organizer may fail to pay out. SamaSave's records, receipts and confirmations help make this visible, but SamaSave is not responsible for losses caused by members or organizers. Only join groups run by people you trust, and settle disagreements directly with your group. You can report an issue in the app so the other party can review it.

6. Things you must not do

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, especially where other members could be harmed.

7. Plans, payments and ads

Core features are free, with group limits. Optional paid plans are sold and billed through Google Play, and Google Play's terms and refund rules apply. Cancel any time in Google Play; access continues until the end of the paid period. Subscription fees are separate from group contributions. The free plan shows ads.

8. Your content

You own the information and photos you add. You allow us to store, display and process them only to run SamaSave for you and your groups, as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep SamaSave available and accurate, but it is provided “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of important records. We may change or discontinue features, and we will give notice in the app for significant changes.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, SamaSave is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for money lost through dealings between members and organizers. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Philippine consumer law.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using SamaSave and delete your account at any time — see Delete Account.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If the changes are important, we will tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use SamaSave after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
