What is SamaSave?
SamaSave is an app for organizing community rotary savings. It keeps groups, member slots, contribution records, payment proof, and payout schedules together.
Is SamaSave free?
Yes. You can create or join groups and use the core contribution and payout tracking tools without a subscription. Free-plan group limits apply, with optional paid plans in the app.
What is a rotary savings group?
A group of people agrees to contribute a fixed amount regularly. One member receives the pooled amount each round, and the order continues until every member has had a turn.
Is this the same as a savings circle or turn-based savings group?
Yes. Those are all names for the same idea: everyone contributes, and each member takes a turn receiving the pot. SamaSave keeps the records and the schedule organized.
Can I add a member who does not have an account?
Yes. Organizers can add manual members and record their contributions. Encourage members to register when possible so they can check their own records.
Can a member take more than one slot?
Yes. A member can be assigned multiple payout slots, with the corresponding contributions and payout turns recorded in the group.
How are payout dates calculated?
SamaSave uses the group’s start date, contribution frequency, and payout order to generate the schedule. Members can see the expected payout date for each slot.
Can members upload payment receipts?
Yes. Members can upload a receipt or screenshot as proof of a contribution for their organizer to review.
Can organizers verify payments?
Yes. Organizers can review proof, confirm a payment, or request resubmission with a note. A confirmation records the organizer’s review; SamaSave does not process the transfer.
