Delete Your Account

You can ask us to delete your SamaSave account and the personal information linked to it at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.
How to request deletion
- Email lonpdzon@gmail.com from the email address you use to sign in to SamaSave, with the subject “Delete my SamaSave account”.
- Include the name on your account. If you write from a different address, we will ask you to confirm the request from your sign-in email, so nobody else can delete your account.
- We will confirm we received your request, and complete the deletion within 30 days.
Before you delete
- If you organize a group that is still running, pay out or settle with your members first. Members rely on those records, and we cannot delete a group while members' money is still owed.
- If you are a member of a running group, let your organizer know, and settle any contributions or payouts still due.
- Paid plans are billed by Google Play. Deleting your account does not cancel them — cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
What we delete
- Your sign-in account, email address and password.
- Your name, username, phone number and profile photo.
- Your organizer profile, photo or logo.
- Groups you organized that have no members' money outstanding.
- Your notifications, invitations and join requests.
What we may keep
- Records other members rely on — contributions, payouts, receipts and messages in groups you belonged to. These stay part of the group's history so the other members keep their proof of payment, but your name is removed and replaced with “Deleted member”.
- Records we must keep by law, or need to resolve a dispute or prevent fraud, for only as long as necessary.
- Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis and cleared within 90 days of deletion.
Delete only some of your data
You don't have to delete your whole account. You can change your name, phone number, profile photo and organizer details in the app at any time, or email lonpdzon@gmail.com to ask us to delete specific information.
